On 26 April at 8 pm, the Kyiv Symphony Orchestra plays in the Leipzig Gewandhaus. A concert tour organised at short notice helps to secure the existence of this first-class orchestra. Kyiv’s musical figurehead brings a piece of Ukrainian culture to Leipzig and presents impressive symphonies by important composers from its homeland.
